Central Platform Services is a specialist company dedicated to the needs of the access industry. Based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, the company provides a wide range of services right across the UK including both new and used access platform sales, equipment hire, servicing and repairs. The company approached Green Route Media in 2015 for a full redesign of their existing website.
Project Requirements
Central Platform Services is a fast growing and dynamic business and needed a website that reflected the full range of services the company provides. The website was to also feature a dedicated area where employees could list used access equipment the company has for sale. In addition to a full website redesign, our client also required an effective online marketing strategy to help bring new business to the company.
The Solution
Our solution for Central Platform Services comprised of a full website redesign together with an organic search engine optimisation campaign.
We delivered a modern, mobile-friendly website built on top of the WordPress content management system, enabling employees to maintain product/service information themselves. In addition to this, we incorporated a dedicated area within the WordPress dashboard where employees could easily list the used access equipment the company has for sale - a feature which has played a key role in helping to speed up the turnover of used access equipment.
Once the website was launched we began a search engine optimisation campaign aimed at increasing organic search engine rankings for search terms specific to the powered access industry. After a short while we began to see improvements in rankings, helping to increase online exposure of both new and existing products and services.
